Defamation case: Trial against BNP leader Mirza Fakhrul starts Oct twenty one



A Dhaka court these days framed charges against BNP administrator Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir during a defamation case filed for terming ruling Awami League a “killer party” and its chief Arab chief Hasina a “killer”.

The court mounted Oct twenty one to begin trial of the case.

On August twenty four, 2014, Fakhrul at a news conference at BNP Nayapaltan headquarters created the comment.

The BNP leader, currently on bail within the case, pleaded innocent  and demanded justice when Metropolitan jurist Nur Nabi browse out the charge to him.

On Sep one, 2014, Nur-e-Alam Siddique, vice-president of Awami Matsyajibi League, a pro-AL organisation, filed the suit against the BNP leader with the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court of Dhaka.

Following a report submitted by Paltan police on December eighteen, the court summoned Fakhrul whereas another Dhaka court on Gregorian calendar month twenty two issued warrant against him as he failed to seem before it.

Fakhrul was arrest in affiliation of the case on Gregorian calendar month whereas discharged on bail on Gregorian calendar month fourteen.
