Job Description / Responsibility

• ROLE PURPOSE:
• Production planning & product delivery as per agreed plan at efficient manner
• Resource allocation and maintain operational budget
• Lead, control & develop production team to ensure safety, quality & on time delivery
• ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Oversee the production process, develop production schedule & execute
• Maintain administrative matters of production department
• Develop long term & short term production strategy and implement
• Implement Syngenta guidelines & initiatives as per local/regional/global direction
• Implement HSE policy & standards and define Strategy for implementation of HSE requirements
• monitor product standards and maintain quality management system
• Prepare yearly production budget and maintain operation within budget
• Prepare monthly production report
• Identify training need, develop training plan for production people and its implementation
• Develop and maintain relationship with internal & external stakeholders
• Implement & maintain good manufacturing practice at shop floor
• Lead & implement cost savings initiatives, process simplification, continuous improvement projects etc.

Educational Requirements

Have a graduation in chemical engineering from a renowned university

Experience Requirements

• 8 to 12 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
  Production
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Chemical Industries, Farming, Food (Packaged), Food (Packaged)/Beverage

Job Requirements

• Proficiency in people management, troubole shooting, root cause analysis etc.
• Understanding on labor laws
• Working experience of 8-10yrs in MNC in production function, preferly in FMCG or chemical industries
• Lead group of people including shop floor employee, preferably union
• Should have exposure on LEAN production including problem solving activities like 5-why, kaizen etc.
